Man survives long battle with MRSA

ÊMichael Madrid contracted MRSA when he was hospitalized for a bike accident. Doctors tried several antibiotic drugs until they found the one that worked, Cubincin.
He had to receive daily infusions of the drug at the hospital for 3 months. Although the infection is gone, MRSA is known to unsuspectingly return. Mandrid is happy that he no longer has to worry about passing the deadly infection on to his son or wife.
Madrid is an artist, as a gift to the hospital staff he painted his interpretation of what MRSA looks like.
